This family-run budget hotel is conveniently located close to Edinburgh and next to the Forth Road Bridge and the Forth Rail Bridge; Roysth is only a few minutes away. The hotel is close to the ferry terminal and is only 500 metres or so from Inverkeithing station. A bus runs regularly between the station and Edinburgh Airport. Trains also run frequently to the city of Edinburgh itself. Kinross is only 20 minutes away, making the hotel a great base for those attending the T in the Park music festival. As reflected in the price, the hotel's rooms are not large. However, all of the rooms are en suite and comfortable. Free Wi-Fi wireless internet access is available in the hotel's public areas and there is a large car park, in which guests are welcome to leave their cars while on holiday. a good base in which to explore scotland we are 300 yards from inverkeithing raiway station, all cities and tourist places are easily reached in minutes you can also reach edinburgh centre in 15 minutes approx. we have the largest deep sea world in europe 5 minutes away. By Rail: There is a frequent rail service, every 15 minutes, between Inverkeithing and Edinburgh's Waverley Station. The journey is approximately 30-45 minutes from platform to platform. When you come off of the train, come out of the exit with the train tracks on your left. When you get to the top of the road, turn left to Boreland Road. Boreland Lodge is situated around 360 metres (400 yards) on your right. By Road: - Inverkeithing is served by the M90/A90, which goes directly into Edinburgh via the Forth Road Bridge. - The Road Bridge operates a toll when travelling North. The journey time is about 15 minutes, but is subject to traffic density and time of day. - After crossing the bridge, take the 1st exit and proceed to Inverkeithing as you come through the centre. - There are 2 mini-roundabouts after crossing the last one. - Approximately 180 metres (200 yards) on, turn right into Boreland Road. - The hotel is around 180 metres (400 yards) on the right. By Bus: There is an Edinburgh Airport bus to and from Inverkeithing Station. It runs every 15-30 minutes, up to 23.10. Journey time is about 25 minutes. Please note the bus stops at Inverkeithing Station, which is only 400 yards from the hotel, on the right.

Junctions to the M9 to Stirling (30 miles) and the M8 to Glasgow (45 miles) are within easy reach via the A9/A8000 link roads. Inverkeithing is situated on the Fife Coastal route (A921) close to historic Dunfermline and allowing access to all other areas of Fife including the East Neuk and St Andrews. All areas of Scotland are readily available from Inverkeithing by bus; a Park and Ride Terminal on the edge of town provides a 10 minute bus service to central Edinburgh and there is also direct access to Rosyth Ferry Terminal which is less than 2 miles away.
