The Stahleim hotel is a landmark property, famous for its magnificent views over three valleys (Naeroy, Brekke and Jordal) with two waterfalls. Adjoining the lobby is the bar and another seating area leading to the terrace.

This hotel which is located just outside the centre of Voss and within walking distance of the station overlooks the beautiful lake Vangsvatnet. It is actually part of Voss railway station. Guests at this hotel share the benefits of Fleischers, the impressive landmark hotel which is its neighbour whilst offering accommodation that for many may actually seem superior, being slick and modern in style rather than traditional. This hotel actually forms a wing off Fleischers hotel which is constructed in grand style. The new wing actually forms part of Voss railway station and is reached via a walkway from the main building on the first floor. The lobby area which is in the main building is quite large and has various stylish seating areas that are traditionally furnished and compliment the grand charm of the hotel. The restaurant which is found in Fleischers main building is a grand affair with high ceilings , antique furnishings and chandeliers . The rooms are large and in exceptional condition. Unlike the rooms in the Fleischers main building they are ultra-modern with cool pale colourschemes and large windows giving them a light and airy feel.
