This is a well-run and comfortable hotel in a very practical location. Highly recommended!. This is a modern building in a street of mostly modern builtings. The breakfast room is modern. The lobby is cosy and welcoming, particularly in winter when there is often an open fire. Here the resemblance to an English manor house is at its strongest. The rooms vary quite a bit in size, but are mostly small to medium sized. They are decorated in neutral colours and style with a few touches reminiscent of English country houses. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in good condition. 1 kms to city centre, 30 kms to the nearest airport (vaernes).
