This hotel is located in the very heart of The Hague, in the main shopping district of the city and within walking distance of many of its attractions. This is a very impressive Ibis located in the heart of The Hague and suitable for everyone. The hotel is also a completely non-smoking hotel, allowing for a smoke free atmosphere throughout all areas. 0209MA. This is a modern building, formerly housing a bank. The bedrooms are all in very good condition as this hotel opened its doors in September 2004. They are decorated in typical Ibis style, with its pale wood furniture and green and red colour scheme, but all rooms have air conditioning and are all large in size. There are pay TV vending machines where people can buy a remote control, per day, to watch pay TV, which is a new concept in Holland. The bathrooms are in excellent condition with the large showers typical of Ibis, and a large green sink and with wood surround. The breakfast room is very large and airy and is on the first floor, overlooking the lobby. It has wooden flooring and modern, orange furniture and there is also a bar style seating arrangement overlooking one of the cities small parks. Group lunches and dinners may also be served here. In the lobby there is a bar and there are a few small tables set up for a la carte meals, although due to the excellent location of this property, there are numerous restaurants within walking distance. The lobby is very large and modern with marble flooring and a large reception area with ample luxurious leather seating. As mentioned before, the bar is also located in the lobby and again, offers numerous seating with its main feature being a natural, brick wall. The whole space is large and airy, and in the evening, with its clever lighting, it is very warm and cosy. 1 km to the nearest station (den haag central), 1 kms to city centre, 25 kms to the airport (rotterdam), 55 kms to the airport (schiphol).
