Johann Lafer a household name ever since the TV shows of this great chef turned him into a media star. However- the cameras could not separate Johann from his philosophy the very highest demands in terms of quality and rich products which are creatively prepared with great feeling. My inspiration stems from the product. Its origins render it unique and merit the greatest respect. I only buy products when I know where they come from and am utterly convinced about their quality Johann Lafer- an equally gifted patissier- attributes the same importance to preparing an iced Christmas stollen cake with chocolate-ginger sauce as he does to a Soonwald deer fillet in an almond crust.
