This hotel is situated 50 kilometres south west of Paris in an enclosed Park and is 15 kilometres away from the Maintenon Golf course. Francois de la Rochefoucaud's motto, inscribed above the entrance door, reads "this is my pleasure" and reflects, in so few words, the excellence of this property's atmosphere and high standards. 0508EB. It is a magnificent chateau hotel, from 1543, with period moats, stone bridges and Renaissance towers. The bedrooms are large and very well appointed with luxurious comfort and in very good condition. The gastronomical restaurant is set in different, very elegant and stunning dining rooms. Its chef will be proud to adapt his very good cuisine to your tastes, thus creating some surprisingly daring, delicious dishes and the "maitre sommelier" will give you the best advice on how to compliment your choices with a selection from the extensive wine list. There is a very small reception area and a large selection of comfortable, beautiful lounges, tastefully appointed in accordance with the elegance of the original building.
