The hotel has two restaurants: the “Lindenwirt” and the “Zum Drosselmueller”, which serve international and local cuisine. They are very rustic in style. Parts of the hotel building date back to the 17th century, with more recent additions made in 1949. In fact, the hotel consists of several half-timbered buildings with wood carved bays and open galleries, all grouped around a courtyard and interconnected. The central hotel is located very centrally in Ruedesheim and close to the famous "Drosselgasse" with its many winebars. It is also convenient for the ferry terminal on the river rhine. The train station is a 10-minute-walk away. This is a superb hotel for exploring Ruedesheim, and its beautyful surrounding wine mountains. 0608LH. The hotel is housed in a building from 1970, but despite being new it is of a very attractive traditional style. It has a small, cosy lobby with a wood panelled ceiling and an open fireplace. The bedrooms are small but comfortable and are furnished in traditional style in a brown and cream colour scheme. Though simple, the rooms are in very good condition as are the bathrooms. The hotel's restaurant, which is situated on the ground floor, is furnished in rustic style with atmospheric subdued lighting. 1 km to the nearest station (ruedesheim), 150 kms to the airport (cologne/bonn), 30 km to the nearest fair site (frankfurt / wiesbaden), 5 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 55 kms to the airport (frankfurt).
