IL TESORO is a large country house, with a charming tower and situated on a low hill in the valley below the village of Radicondoli. From the house and from the swimming pool you can admire a typical and breathtaking landscape of gently rolling hills, surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and grazing sheep. About 7 km before the village of Radicondoli there is the unpaved road in good conditions that brings you to IL TESORO. Radicondoli is a very small village but there you can find the bakery, the chemistry, the butcher and three very little groceries, but always we suggest for weekly shopping to go to Colle val D'Elsa that is 20 km far but is very cheaper. From our farmhouse you can reach in 30 minutes San Gimignano with its towers, the Medieval castle of Monteriggioni, the 'rootless' church of San Galgano in Chiusdino. In 40 minutes you can arrive to Siena, to the Etruscan Volterra, and to the 'Terme of Petriolo'. Florence is not to far and in about 1 hour you can be there, you can visit also Pisa (120 km) or for one day reach the seaside in Follonica (60 km). In the farmhouse you can buy typical biological foods as cheese, bread, wine, oil, vinegar and many other that you will discover during your holiday. This location can be at the same time very near and very far from all the world, we suggest this location for those that are looking for relax ..........enjoying the beautiful "turistic" Tuscany.

In the early 1800, in the ancient cottage that was once part of the county of Radicondoli, a mill was built where peasants of nearby towns brought wheat, barley, and olives; it is still possible today to admire the impressive millstones once pulled by oxes.
