Perfect for your summer seaside holiday, we are also busy all year round now being ideally located as a base for exploring Cornwall's breathtaking scenery and numerous visitor attractions. The beach is obviously the major attraction here with a 3 mile stretch of sand at low tide providing more than enough space to spread out even during the busiest weeks of July and August. There are plenty of hire shops to grab yourself a wetsuit and board and give surfing a try, (lessons can be pre-booked before you arrive) and a team of truly professional and dedicated lifeguards are on patrol during the main holiday season. The village offers a park, boating lake and putting green, bowls club, horse-riding, gliding club, tennis (grass and hard-courts), fishing (sea and coarse), a challenging 18 hole golf course and some of the most spectacular coastal walks in the South-West. We are members of the Coast Path Association and welcome walkers and cyclists either "en-route" or wishing to base themselves centrally for exploring the locality. As our name suggests, we are a fully licensed premises with a well stocked Bar open to Residents and Non-Residents. Unwind after a hard day lying on the beach with a glass of wine or a pint of local real ale and peruse the menu before Dinner.
