The surrounding area of Ornskoldsvik is situated on the highest stretch of coastline in Sweden which was in 2000 awarded world heritage status by the UN.With views over the harbour entrance and old salt warehouse, the restaurant is a delightful environment in which to enjoy the buffet breakfast. The hotels exterior is a mixture of two designs, the first originates from 1911 with a light brick facade coloured in terra cotta and yellow, ornate windows and roof top together with turrets and towers.
