Its quiet suburban setting and clean, affordable rooms make it a great alternative to most hotels in Breda. The Tulip Inn Oosterhout was built in 1991 and has been recently renovated. Businesses and professional organizations can rent one or more of the hotel’s 6 versatile, air-conditioned meeting rooms to host seminars and conferences. A brasserie called Flavours prepares a breakfast buffet every morning and has a la carte menus for lunch and dinner. Next to Efteling is the Loon and Drunen Dunes (Loonse en Drunense Duinen) national park, a protected recreation area of sand dunes and forest. The wetlands and wilderness of Biesbosch National Park is approx. 11 km/6.8 miles north of the Tulip Inn Oosterhout.

The hotel is close to Breda and within easy reach of the A27 motorway. A good 3 star property suitable for groups and individuals who have their own transportation. 09/09. A low rise, modern purpose built hotel. The breakfast room, bar and restaurant are all very open plan with plenty of greenery and lead off from each other. The food is of an international flavour, although fairly basic. There is also a self service and terrace area. The hotel has no lobby as such as it's all very open plan. The reception area is small with a shop located just off the reception desk. The rooms are in a good condition and of a medium size. They are decorated in a creamy colour with blue carpeting, red and blue bedspreads and curtains. The rooms have a small desk and seating area. The bathrooms are medium in size and tiled in grey and white. 1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 10 km to the nearest station (rijen), 100 kms to the airport (schiphol), 2 kms to city centre, 75 kms to the airport (rotterdam).
