Overlooking the mouth of the river and harbour the Kompaniet is less than a ten-minute brisk walk to the centre of Nykoping. Skavsta Airport is approximately 7 kilometres away and depending on traffic is a ten to fifteen minute drive. The location benefits from one of the most picturesque in the town and also from the peace and quiet of being just off centre. The restaurant is located next to the lobby and extends onto an outdoor decking area depending on the weather. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the restaurant that generally offers a buffet for each meal and consists of both Swedish specialties and international dishes. Built in the 1980s, this hotel was designed to blend in with local architecture and happens to be on the of the most attractive buildings in the area. Resembling a castle in red brick, set against parkland and water the Kompaniet is a very pleasant place to stay. Medium in size the lobby has the reception to one side with friendly and attentive staff, a small bar and the hotel restaurant directly in front. Although there is limited seating in the lobby area there is a cosy guest lounge just around the corner.
