Following room refurbishments in spring 2008, the White Hart in Newmarket has reopened as under the Marston's Inns brand. Each of our 18 en-suite rooms is decorated to a high standard and offers flat screen digital TVs, luxurious bedding, tea and coffee making facilities and free wi-fi for guests. The hotel is ideally situated on the High Street in the centre of Newmarket, just 20 minutes walk from the racecourse and 10 minutes from the Tattersalls auctioneers. The rooms are situated above our lively bar offering a late licence until 2am on weekend nights (with in-house DJ's playing loud music until this time). The bar serves a full menu offering everything from sandwiches and snacks to full meals, all complemented by our range of wines, beers and soft drinks. This is the perfect location for anyone who wants to be close to the action in the centre of the town. A function room is available for conferences, parties and wedding receptions and there is ample free parking for all guests. Room rates are inclusive of our fantastic cooked and continental breakfast. PLEASE NOTE: There is a £25 surcharge per room per night on race days.

7. Bloodstock Barn Bed and Breakfast Newmarket (England)

Ashley is an easy 5 minute drive from Newmarket. The barn is in a quiet meadow has private off road parking for 6 cars. The garden can be used breakfast can be served on the patio, weather permitting. There is a lock up for push bikes. The famous Rowley Mile July Race courses are just a short drive [4 miles]. Tattersalls is 3 miles [5 mins drive]. Cambridge,Ely Bury St. Edmunds are within 15-20 mins. The Animal Health Trust is also 5 mins away. Wyken Fen Lackford lakes are a short drive for lovers of wild life Icknield Way [long distance footpath] goes through the village. Wild Tracks [Quad bikes moter bikes] is within 10 mins. 8. The Reindeer Inn Newmarket (England)
