Directly overlooking Lake Windermere in five acres of lovely grounds, Newby Bridge Hotel is the perfect place to stay in the Lake District. The Hotel has recently been refurbished and extended, and provides quality accommodation, roaring log fires, leisure facilities and a private jetty- not forgetting the good food. We offer 41 bedrooms including 12 Four Poster rooms with ensuite spa baths, all equipped with everything you will need when staying away from home. There are also a number of bedrooms situated in the Hotels courtyard which are suitable for families. Five acres of gardens with private jetty on Lake Windermere and fishing rights await you as does our private leisure centre, exclusive to hotel guests, with pool, spa pool, mini gym and steam room. The Oak-panelled restaurant and 'The Huntsman's Inn' is our traditional bar, our restaurant menu changes daily and offers a wide choice, using locally grown fresh produce whenever possible, much of it from our own Victorian kitchen garden. We offer special menus for vegetarians and children. Newby Bridge Hotel has its own mooring on Lake Windermere and hotel residents may fish from here. For the less energetic, the hotel’s Mediterranean gardens and terraces provide a tranquil refuge. There is plenty to see and do locally, including fishing, walking, museums and more, we are ideally situated to explore all the Lake District has to offer. Please note children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult in the room (over 16 years old). Family rooms are available for a maximum of 2 adults only. Please note that our leisure complex will regrettably be closed on the 5th, 6th and 7th of July for maintenance. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
