The Hotel Garni Stadt Milin is a small, family run hotel. The 10 double rooms and 3 single rooms are located on several floors and accessed via a lift. This hotel’s facilities are accessible for the disabled. Restaurants, an ATM machine, a pharmacy, and a supermarket are all within walking distance. The hotel is located at the centre of Mylau, a 5 minute walk from Mylau Castle (Burg Mylau), one of the best-preserved medieval castles in Saxony. Built in 1180 on a bridge above the confluence of the Raumbach and the Goltzsch River, it has been renovated and expanded numerous times, and today it houses some recreated medieval rooms and a small museum. Just across the Goltzsch River is the town of Netzschkau, which has its own castle, the Schloss Netzschkau, constructed around 1490. The interior of the castle and its permanent exhibition can be toured on weekends and public holidays from April to October. At the north end of Mylau and Netzschkau is the Goltzsch Valley Bridge (Goltzschtalbrucke), a railway bridge that is the largest brick-built bridge in the world.
