130 kilometres north of Rovaniemi, this mountain hotel is situated very near to the Luosto Mountain. Stunning scenery surrounds the hotel. The main North/South is a short drive away from the hotel. This hotel is a perfect base for adventurous souls wishing to seek nature during the summer time and take part in some diverse sports during the winter. This typically Lappish hotel is welcoming and relaxing and comes highly recommended. 10/08DG. The main building is a large wood chalet style cabin. The "bedrooms" are simply a log cabin "village" in the forest. Small, cosy and inviting the lobby is in the middle of the main building. The restaurant, which is located in the handsome main building is cosy, romantic, and full of character. This hotel consists of a log cabin "village" and a main building. All the rooms but three are actually log cabins. Each has its own fire place, kitchen and sauna. All are large in size and in very good condition. Bathrooms are in good condition. 120 kms to the nearest airport (rovaniemi), 130 km to the nearest station (station), 40 kms to city centre.

Hotel Aurora Chalet is the newest hotel in Luosto. Privately owned Aurora Chalet opened its doors in August 2005. The hotel is located in the centre of Luosto - close to all services; skiing tracks, ski slopes, snowmobile tracks and Pyha-Luosto national park. The theme of the Aurora Chalet is the Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights. The rooms offer a splendid setting in which to enjoy the spectacular show that this unique natural light phenomenon offers: the windows of every room in the hotel face the northern horizon. The Aurora Alarm service will inform clients when the Northern Lights are visible in the sky.
