Hotel Ala D'oro is situated in the heart of Lugo, a historical city located between Bologna and Ravenna cities. The hotel was once the home of the noble Conti Rossi family, one of the most important aristocratic families in the town during the 18th century. Lugo is easily reachable by car and by train from both Ravenna and Bologna. The hotel offers 40 rooms, most looking out onto a quiet internal courtyard. The rooms vary in size due to the historical nature of the building. The rooms are equipped with all modern comforts, including high-speed wired internet (and Wi-Fi internet on the first floor). The restaurant offers the best of the traditional Romagnola cuisine, along with a well stocked cellar of local and national wines and it appears in many restaurant recommenation guides. There is also an atmosperic bar with a vaulted ceiling and a spacious TV lounge with a large TV screen showing the latest films and all major sporting events.
