Masseria Bagnara Resort and Spa is located in a piece of the Mediterranean land, covered with olive trees and vines that give the colors and scents to the landscape. The structure was a place where were practiced livestock farming and cultivation of wheat. In the upper part of the structure lived the master of the Masseria, and in the lower part themassai (workers). The main entrance was built on the right stone, the cement and the chianche to indicate the passage of time. There were other places like the suppenna, shelter for the sheep, mules, horse and the pagliara. The Pagliara has a shape of an inverted trullo, the top was cut down by the order of the Marquis because he wanted to enjoy the splendid panorama of the sea and the surrounding area. The Resort is the result of sensitive and skills of several architects who were able to integrate environmental and logical design with an original interpretation of the personality and history of the place.
