1. Great Trethew Manor Hotel Liskeard

Great Trethew Manor is set in the heart of the countryside, surrounded by 40 acres of beautiful gardens, woodlands and meadows. The only access is a delightful half mile drive. Bordered with many lovely trees and shrubs. There are many woodland and garden walks which harbor a wide variety of wildlife including, Woodpeckers, Jays, Nut Hatches, Pigeon, Pheasant, Partridge, Snipe, Kingfisher, Heron, Fox, Rabbits. Badgers and the occasional Deer. Inside the Manor we have a large character bar and restaurant with a beamed ceiling, flag toned floor and log fires when the evenings get chilly. The Restaurant with candle lit tables and roaring log fires in the winter offers an A La Carte Menu to suit everybody's taste. We serve top quality food from the harbour, the farm and the game keepers larder. New this year we are offering our amazing Volcanic Lava Stones. Within the grounds we have a hard tennis court (under reconstruction), fish ponds, trout lake, croquet lawn, barbecue area, Lakeside BBQ, pony trekking, animal feeding area, trampline, bouncy castle and garden games, car parking and plenty of room for the children to play. Guests wishing to participate in our pony trekking please make a note of this at the time of booking, alternatively please telephone us on 01503 240663 or email so we can accommodate your needs. This will avoid dissapointment if we are fully booked when you arrive. Roaming the grounds we have several peacocks some of ours and others from accross the valley as they are free to roam the nearby area as they please. We also have a free car park on site, which guests are welcome to use at their own risk. There are nearby beaches for everybody some small and edged with rock pools, others just long curves of pristine sand and pounding surf. For a good family beach with traditional seaside activities where you can hire a boat or enjoy a cream tea, Looe, as well as Seaton & Downderry provide a perfect setting

2. Nebula Hotel Liskeard

The Nebula is a friendly home from home hotel in the quaint market town of Liskeard. A traditional English atmosphere will greet you in our grade II listed building. Relax by our old granite fireplace and have a drink from our residents' licensed bar. There are 8 large comfortable bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, Colour TV, and tea and coffee provided. A large car park is available for guests to use. Liskeard is ideal as a springboard to visit Cornwall. We are 5 minutes walking distance to the town centre of Liskeard where there is a choice of eating places and 15 minutes walk from the railway station. Places of interest are Minions and Cheesewring on Bodmin Moor, Siblyback Lake, Golitha Falls, Looe, Polperro, Fowey, the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and the National Maritime Museum. There are plenty of coastal and moor walks to enjoy as well as many golf courses and a selection of sea and river cruises. We are proud to be a Visit Britain Member and 3 star rated guest house. 3. Sportsmans Arms Hotel Liskeard

The Sportsmans Arms is a traditional style inn offering all ensuite accommodation. We have listened to our customers and so in these price-conscious times rooms are charged on a room-only basis, with the option of a light breakfast (juice, cereals, toast marmalades, tea/coffee) for £3, or full English breakfast for just £5. Our location is a key feature, being only 300yds off the A38 which makes it a perfect base for exploring Cornwall. On arrival, guests are given a front-door key so that they may come and go as they wish. For visitors without a car, Menheniot's train station with a limited service is almost opposite and the bus stop is at the end of the road on the A38. We don't offer an evening meal service - Cornwall has such a variety of dining options, with many of the best fish restaurants in the region only 5 miles away in Looe, and there is an excellent English/Italian restaurant at the end of the road. All five of our comfortable rooms are ensuite with courtesy tea coffee trays and a flat-screen wall-mounted TV, with built-in Freeview and DVD player. Sky Sports is available in the bar which is open 4.00pm to 11.00pm Monday to Thursday, and from noon to 11.30pm Friday to Sunday. Internet access is free and available in the bar - most guests are able to access it in their room also. 4. The White Hart Hotel Liskeard

Address: Menheniot, Liskeard, United Kingdom

The White Hart Hotel is in the heart of the picturesque Cornwall village of Menheniot, approximately 100 yards from the medieval church, overlooking the old village square. The hotel is an olde worlde Coaching Inn, and is believed to date back to the 17th century. White Hart Hotel is owned and run by myself, Jonathon, and my partner Susan. We offer spacious ensuite accommodation, with TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. Our Hotel has a lounge bar, a public bar, a non-smoking dining room and a beer garden. The lounge public bars with slate floors beamed celings serve real ales and an a la carte menu, and food is served from our delicious menu every evening from 7pm (reservations recommended). A large private car park adjoins the property. For those who have not stayed before, Menheniot is between the towns of Saltash and Liskeard in South East Cornwall - an area renowned for its natural beauty. There are numerous attractions for our guests to visit within easy reach: the north and south coasts of the county offer a variety of sites and coastal views, from vast sandy beaches to the more quaint coves and harbours, such as Looe and Polperro. The Eden Project is a popular day out for many of our visitors, and with Bodmin Moor and the picturesque valleys of the Lynher and Tamar on our doorstep, you can be sure to find plenty to do throughout your stay.
