The Plaza is a very well-maintained first class product and i would recommend it as the best property in Karlstad. 19 jul 99 The hotel is quite non-descript from the outside, constructed in a standard brick/concrete modern style. Breakfast is taken in the atrium bar Area, which is decorated in an outdoor garden style. The dinner restaurant, vivaldi, in the basement offers a wide range of international cuisine, and is a more intimate, softly-lit dining Area. The reception Area is small and decorated elegantly, with a marble floor and dark pine furnishings. A very nice property with a fantastic location. The Rica Karlstad is a great new addition to the hotel portfolio of Karlstad. (11/06 LC) It is a very modern low-rise building consisting of only 3 floors. The architecture is minimalist and functional using materials such as metal, glass and prefabricated walls, typical of purpose built hotels in the last few years. The restaurant is located on the ground floor of the hotel facing out onto the street. Known as 'Legends' the restaurants desire is to offer the very best in fresh ingredients and the trendiest social setting in the city, a true destination venue.
