This hotel is in an excellent location, next to the river in its own area of green parkland, just a short walk across the bridge to the centre of the attractive town of Joensuu. This is a good quality hotel in an attractive and convenient location. It is a very large modern structure, built in predominantly white stone. Guests can enjoy a walk along the riverbank and enjoy the views out across the lake. The lobby area is large, with plenty of seating. Decor is modern. The restaurant is very intimate, traditionally decorated with low wooden beams, antique style tables and chairs and white brick walls adorned with paintings and vintage rifles. There also is a large wild west style bar, very popular with locals and guests alike. The rooms are small and in good condition. They are decorated in a modern style.
