Alison and Bill welcome you to Glede Knowe, a friendly and relaxing four star Guest House providing excellent quality bed and breakfast in the Scottish Borders, Scotland's best short break destination. Set in the village of Innerleithen, near Peebles, we provide excellent accommodation, including a mix of flexible familytriple, twin and double en-suite rooms all with large fully tiled ensuites. All rooms have superb open views of the surrounding countryside and most are south facing. Breakfast is served in our large, comfortable dining roomlounge also with superb views from the panoramic windows and where guests can relax after an enjoyable day in the surrounding countryside. Glede Knowe sits on an elevated site in an acre of landscaped gardens, but within five minutes walking distance of the local shops, hotels etc. Glede Knowe is a perfect location for enjoying the many activities that the area offers including walking, cycling, fishing, golf and some of the best mountain biking in the UK. It is also an excellent base for touring the beautiful Scottish Borders with its wonderful scenery and many historic castles, abbeys and gardens, or a day trip to Edinburgh, just one hour away by car. We have ample onsite parking, secure storage for sports equipment and drying facilities.

Undisturbed peace in beautiful surroundings at ordinary prices.40 mins from Edinburgh. Our home was built in 1865 and has been extensively refurbished to exceptionally high standards but still retains many of the original features creating a distinctive yet homely small hotel. It has 8 very comfortable and individually designed bedrooms, 7 of which are en-suite while the other has a private bathroom just a few steps away, all equipped with those little extras to make you feel as at home as possible. The lounge has a cosy log fire and the stylish dining room, with its large bay windows, overlook the mature and uniquely charming gardens. In the evening why not enjoy some excellent food and great wines, beers or spirits in ourcandlelit restaurant. We take great care to source our ingredients from local suppliers wherever possible. After dinner you could enjoy one of our malt whiskies from our whisky menu. Please note that our restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday evening. Free WiFi is available although not in all rooms.
