This hotel is situated on the shore of Hameenlinna's beautiful lake Vanajavesi. The city is a 5 minute walk across a bridge. This is an excellent modern hotel in a picturesque location. It is a large and imposing white stone building with a grey roof which is turreted in parts. Inside, the hotel is completely modern throughout. The reception area containing the lobby is medium sized, but opens out towards a large bar and lounge. The restaurant is a large room, decorated thoughtfully in dark wood furnishing and floral patterns on the curtains and tablecloths. The rooms are medium sized and in very good condition. They are cosy, with tinted glass coffee tables, peach curtains and modern zigzag patterned chairs. The bathrooms are also in very good condition. 1 kms to city centre, 2 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 4 km to the nearest fair site, 70 kms to the airport (pirkkala), 90 kms to the airport (helsinki-vantaa), Close to the station (hameenlinna city).

This hotel is located in the centre of the attractive town of Hameenlinna. It is surrounded by shops and restaurants and it is an easy walk to the lake shore. This is a good modern hotel in an excellent location. The hotel is a modern 5-storey building, coloured beige and grey. The decor throughout the hotel is fairly simple. The lobby is medium with green plants, tan wood and sofa seating area. The restaurant and bar follows the classic Cumulus design, with standard tables and more intimate cubicles set in a more traditional Finnish environment. It is very popular with locals. The rooms are large. They are in very good condition. The bathrooms are of a good size and the new ones have stone grey colour schemes. Nice. 1 km to the nearest fair site (the castle), 1 km to the nearest station (railway), 1 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, 85 kms to the nearest airport (helsinki-vantaa).

The Rantasipi Aulanko hotel is a modern resort and conference centre set in it's own huge gardens adjacent to Lake Vanajavesi. This is a hotel of exceptional standard. The complex has been extensively modernised and extended over the years and is now one of the premier conference/resort properties in Finland. All rooms have been recently refurbished, they are large yet cosy and tastefully decorated in a variety of pastel colours. Both rooms and bathrooms are kept in very good condition. The hotel's main restaurant is housed behind the lobby area looking out to the park and lake areas, decor is in the same theme as found in the rest of the hotel - modern and very spacious, guests may also choose to dine outside on the connecting terrace if they desire.
