This is a very good quality hotel and Haarlem is the perfect alternative to Amsterdam. 12/ The distinctive art nouveau designed exterior gives this hotel a very warm character and style. The restaurant is decorated a lot like a 'TGI Fridays' restaurant, with an American theme, stained glass windows, wooden floors and a large bar. The menu is very large and international and changes from time to time. There is also a conservatory style area which is lovely to sit in during the summer months. The lobby and public areas are well maintained and decorated and give the impression of understated luxury. They are predominantly peach and all have a comfortable seating area. Of course, they all offer the facilities one would expect from a first class hotel which caters mainly for the business traveller.
