4. Hotel Lisboa Frederikshavn

Hotel Lisboas 32 double rooms are all equipped with toilet - bath and colour TV. The hotel offers weekend stays - mini holidays and also October party stays. From the hotel there is only one stones throw to the very beautiful Bangsbo area and the hill Pikkerbakken with a view over Kattegat. Hotel Lisboa is a cosy family-run hotel situated in the southern part of Frederikshavn - close to the wood and the beach. There are only 5 minutes by car to the ferry port and thus the ferries to Norway Sweden and the Danish island Laesoe. A bit further north you will also find the Palm Beach where you can enjoy life and the fine weather in the shadow of real palms. On this perhaps northernmost palm beach in the world there are both a beach bar and a beach volley course. The main impression of the hotel is that is light and friendly and all the rooms have been decorated by the Danish painter Peder Meinert. The children can enjoy free access to the inns large garden and terrace with different games and a playground and guests of all ages will delight in the hotels menu card which offers fried Frederikshavn plaice. Altogether the chef makes good traditional food from the Danish cuisine. Hotel Lisboa is a good starting point for exploring the area called - Lysets Land - in North Jutland.
