Brackenhurst was formerly a 14 bedroom hotel and has been extensively refurbished to 5 star luxury over the last three years. We are situated in Snowdonia National Park on the beautiful coast of West Wales, standing in an elevated position overlooking Cardigan Bay, the port of Barmouth and the famous Mawdach Estuary. Two minutes drive away is the fabulous Blue Flag sandy beaches of Fairbourne. As you arrive at Brackenhurst you realise you have made the right choice as you see the most spectacular views. All our rooms overlook the sea so you can relax watching the most amazing sunsets over the Bay and Llyn Peninsular. Brackenhurst is a family run house offering the best in accommodation, facilities and pampering. Whether you just need to get away for a night, a weekend or longer, Brackenhurst can offer it all. We have three En-suite bedrooms with all new facilities, large Digital TV’s, Wi-fi, Tea & Coffee, and of course fluffy towels! (Hair Dryer and Iron on request). We also have an exclusive self catering luxury apartment with access to the large outdoor balcony overlooking the Sea from either the Bedroom or Lounge area. (Commodores Suite) Binoculars are provided in each room so you can watch those dolphins or see the yachts coming and going into Barmouth Harbour. Only a maximum of eight guests stay at Brackenhurst at any one time so you can either lose yourself in the house and grounds or make new friends. Car parking with CCTV and Security Lighting. Our facilities include an Outdoor luxury “Jacuzzi” Spa with Gazebo that you can enjoy in any weather conditions. The Jacuzzi seats up to eight people with lights, waterfalls and massage jets together with Bose cd/radio system to add to your relaxation. This can be booked exclusively for your personal use when required (small charge applies). In addition our fully fitted Gymnasium has all that you need to keep yourself looking good and in shape.
