At Timmermans Hotel and Resort, we provide the little comforts that make you feel at home. Hotel is located just 12 miles west of Galena, Illinois and right across the river from Dubuque, Iowa. We are convenient to shopping, skiing, golfing, and gambling casinos, and various activities and attractions for people with multiple interests. Our property has just gotten 1 million dollar renovation in 2009. Recent renovation included exterior face lift, change of carpet, beds, bathrooms, windows in all of the rooms. It also included refurbishing indoor pool and all of the public areas as well. We can also accommodate groups like wedding parties, bridal showers and business meetings etc. You will find 74 clean and comfortable guest rooms with a choice of two double beds or one kind size bed, 77 channels of cable television, a table and chairs, a desk, and a full bath. For those who need a little extra space, one of our whirlpool or jacuzzi suites may be ideal. Our whirlpool suite room has nearly two times the space of our standard room, one king size bed, sitting area with a love seat and sofa bed with coffee maker and refrigerator, and a luxurious bathroom. We have some adjoining rooms and also some with sliding doors that open to walk-out patios.
