For those looking for a relaxing holiday in Latvia, the Dikli Palace Hotel is the place for you. This four star accomodation in Dikli, in a restored manor built in the 19th century. The restoration project was very thorough and complete, and the manor is a great place to explore and view antiques and historical pieces. The village itself is rural and quiet, with only around five hundred residents. It is most known for being the birthplace of Latvian theatre and song festival traditions. It is still possible to see performance of this nature in the village today. The hotel has a restaurant, which is open for lunch and dinner, and serves seasonal, local cuisine. There is a spa and wellness center, which offers several types of treatments and massages, a sauna, a steam bath, a Jacuzzi, an indoor swimming pool, all surrounding by the old stone walls of the palace. There is a beautiful garden park around the hotel, where guests can go for a stroll, a picnic, or nap. Other amenities include a catering and banqueting service, an event hall, and a wine cellar, all located in the Manor Barn.
