The hotel was designed in 1895 by the Viennese court architects Fellner and Helmer, and it has retained its elegant architecture even since being completely renovated in 2006.The final decades of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, when the high society of the Habsburg Monarchy discovered the beauty and the pleasant climate of the Mediterranean coast.
