This is an excellent, very well preserved historic property in the heart of Cathares country. Get the feel of another time in beautiful surroundings. ( 1206/ss) The rooms vary in size from medium to large. They are all different in decor, but all reflect the medieval character of the castle with high and in some cases vaulted ceilings,wooden beams, stone flooring, and in some cases large stone fire places. They are furnished with dark wooden furniture. The walls are mostly painted in off white. Rooms and bathrooms are in excellent condition. The restaurant features a large sand stone fireplace, chandeliers, and a wooden ceiling with heavy beams. It is furnished with dark wooden furniture. It opens up to the beautiful inner courtyard where meals are served in the warmer months.
