Priorfield is in a peaceful and secluded location, yet only a few minutes walk into the historical village centre and River Tyne walks. Both rooms have comfortable beds, thermostatically controlled radiators, digital TV, free Wi-Fi access, tea and coffee tray and overlook the garden. A hearty Northumbrian breakfast is taken round our antique yew wood communal dining room table. Vegetarian options available. A great base from which to explore Northumberland's varied activities. Abandon the car use the Hadrian's Wall bus (AD122), local buses or trains. All easily accessable from our door. The village of Corbridge has an abundance of excellent eating places - restaurants, pubs, tea rooms as well as many interesting and exclusive shops. All within walking distance. 4. Hill View Hotel Corbridge (England)

Hill View Cottage is a beautiful 2 bedroom, stone built cottage in the centre of Corbridge, Northumberland. The three star, self catering cottage has been lovingly refurbished by its owners retaining its original features. The living room is large with two 2 seater sofas and a dining table which seats 6. The inglenook fireplace and electric stove are a feature of the room. There is a double room with cast iron fireplace and a smaller second bedroom with bunk beds. The original sash windows remain in the front of the property, secondary double glazing helps to keep the property quiet and warm. There is a shower room/wet room downstairs and the kitchen is small but functional with brand new units fitted in early 2007. To the rear of the property there is a small enclosed patio area with table and chairs seating 4 people. This area is south-facing and is ideal to sit enjoying the sunshine during the warmer months. Its location in Corbridge is unbeatable. The cottage is adjacent to a 16th century church and opposite the ‘Off The Wall’ art gallery. Within walking distance are amenities such as shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. There is also an array of food shops, such as butcher, baker, fishmonger and a fruit and vegetable shop in case you decide to cook. If you want to venture a little further, Northumberland has much to discover: quaint villages, stunning seaside towns and tranquil countryside.
