Way back in 1859 a gentleman, returned safely from the Crimean War, from the beginning of the construction of the Crimea. In 1964 the hotel was taken over by family Giacomelli, who in 1981 will complete reconstruction of the building. In 2005, they renew the bar, restaurant and rooms. The same year he inzio a new young and dynamic and brilliantly directed by Mattia Giulia Giacomelli. The hotel is centrally located, adjacent to the railway station in the area of the famous Crotty Chiavenna.
