The Causeway Tavern bed breakfast is a family run licensed establishment, situated at the heart of the causeway coast in the little hamlet of Lisngunogue near Bushmills. This peaceful little village comes to life at the weekends when musical entertainment plays in the bar lounge. Ideally situated for the exploring tourist, a five minute car drive will take you to The Giants Causeway, The Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge, The World Famous Bushmills Distillery and Dunluce Castle. Also, the area sports four golf courses within a 20 mile radius. We are very friendly and welcoming, and offer 6 lovely clean rooms, comfortably furnished for a relaxing night of sleep. Available for guest use are hairdryers, clothes smoother, clean fresh towels, soap, tea coffee facilities, books and childrens play box of toys. This area of the Antrim coast is just bursting with things to see and do, lots of little harbours and big sandy beaches, open farms and spectacular veiws. For the younger visitor, we are just a fifteen minute car journey from the amusements at Portrush or Coleraine, where you will find swimming pools, bowling, cinema, indoor adventure playground and more. The Bushmills Inn Hotel offers four star rated accommodation in a relaxing environment, capturing the true spirit of Ulster hospitality. This multi-award-winning hotel and restaurant has been outstandingly restored, reflecting its origins as an old coaching inn and mill house. In October 2009 the hotel was not only awarded Four Star Status by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board becoming the first Four Star property on the Causeway Coast, but also 'Best Hotel' in Northern Ireland (under 75 bedrooms) by the Licensed and Catering News. The hotel completed its extension of 19 over sized bedrooms in May 2009, bringing the total to 41. The development incorporated a new reception hall, a 'Garden Room' extension to the restaurant, a new pation area, new residents garden and the hotel's car park has also been extended. The hotel excels in providing a relaxing environment for couples, a small group of friends and very often a golfing party. Guests can absorb and enjoy the inherently warm, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere of the hotel.
