Nestled under 100 year old cotton wood trees rests the Historic Beaver Dam Lodge. The lodge was built in 1931 where many movie stars like Clark Gable, John Wayne, Howard Hughes, Jane Russell and Jack Benny came to stay. The rooms have been recently remodeled but still keeps the atmosphere of the hotel while the stars were here. The lodge also offers a 9 hole par 3 golf course that is shaded by 100 year old cotton wood trees. The course is great for working on ones short game and also for the beginner to learn the game of golf. The course runs along the Beaver Dam wash where one might see an actual beaver busy making their dam. The property also has a full service restaurant and bar. It is the perfect place to have a wedding, family reunion or any type of party where you want to get away from it all. Please note that room rates are based on double occupancy. There is an extra person charge of USD 10.00 per person per night. Check-in is at 3 pm. To check in come to the Proshop of the golf course. The proshop is attached to the hotel. Check-out is at 11 am. Phone will be available at the hotel lobby doors. Just pick phone up and someone will answer and come check the guest in. Beaver Dam is an Oasis in the desert. Part of the Old Spanish Trail, the Beaver Dam area has been a stopping place for many travelers. The area has several off road trails that you can follow that will take you into Utah and to the Grand Canyon.
