This is castle country too, with countless historical sites that give you a fascinating insight into Scotland's history; Her Majesty The Queen's Highland home of Balmoral isn't far away either. Back on the coast, you'll enjoy wonderful sunsets, spot the odd dolphin or two, and if you're really lucky marvel at the incredible northern lights. Banff is located between Aberdeen and Inverness - either can be reached in approximately 90 minutes. Traditional accommodation, with a fantastic rural location on the seafront. All bedrooms in the main hotel are en suite, and our spacious rooms can accommodate families of up to four people. Immaculately kept and styled, the rooms offer maximum comfort. The Fife Lodge hotel can cater for all sorts of conferences, seminars and training events, and weddings. Small rooms are available for one to one meetings, larger rooms for groups of 20, 50 or more. The ballroom can cater for over 200 delegates and guests. The hotel has lovely grounds that lend for a splendid setting, particularly for special occasions, but also for simply relaxing in fresh air. Visitors to the area will find many breath-taking views of the countryside and long golden sandy beaches, great for romance, artists and photographers. Every few miles there will be a historic site from cliff top castles over looking the Moray Firth to hidden from view sites of former medieval palaces and stately homes. With the rich fertile Buchan land and the fantastic seafood from the North Sea, if you have a taste for the best cuisine anywhere, there will be a dish to suit everyone. The Banffshire coast is fantastic for the water enthusiast. Enjoy fishing in a secluded sheltered rocky bay. Sail along the coast along with the Dolphins and see all the wildlife.
