Fern Villa is a small and friendly Guest House offering Bed and Breakfast accommodation in the village of Ballachulish. We are just a few miles from the spectacular Pass of Glencoe and fifteen miles south of Fort William. We are ideally located for exploring the Scottish Highlands and it is possible to make day trips to Skye and Mull along various routes. The area offers something for everyone, whatever the season walking, climbing (indoor and out), skiing, fishing, cycling, canoeing, 10 pin bowling and best of all chilling. For the outdoor enthusiast we have a kit drying room and offer an early full cooked breakfast if required. There is a good choice of places to eat within walking distance and a short drive away. Please note we are not a purpose built guesthouse and therefore some of the bedrooms are not large. However we have a lounge where you are welcome to relax if you decide to put your feet up for a while.

Now in its 77th year The Glencoe Hotel has just undergone a full refurbishment and now offers 15 bedrooms, many with superb views of the loch, a cosy and welcoming bar and a restaurant offering wholesome, filling food all day. The bar offers the perfect spot to indulge in some post climb analysis; with comfy seating and a large selection of beers, wines and spirits, tired legs will soon be recovered. Work your way around the distilleries of Scotland, tasting malts from our extensive selection - from the rich and peaty Islay malts such as Ardbeg, to the smooth caramel flavours of the lowland malts such as Auchentoshan.
