2. Lastra Farm Hotel Amlwch

Address: Penrhyd, Amlwch, United Kingdom

Lastra Farm Hotel was originally a 17th Century Welsh Farmhouse, and the feeling of being in a much loved home pervades the atmosphere here to this day. With its warm wood panelling and traditional island touches, the house still retains the warmth of its heyday as a working family residence, and we have retained many of the little contemporary knick-knacks that would have adorned it back then. Some of our rooms are large and airy, some more modestly sized, but all have a unique ambience that only age and much care can bestow. All of them are furnished and equipped to provide luxury, comfort and warmth for our guests. Many of our customers return again and again just to experience the sheer pleasure of immersing themselves in this microcosm of rural Welsh life. The Granary Bistro is the ideal location for a relaxing and informal meal. You'll find it a friendly place to enjoy anything from a cappuccino to a light snack, through to a full three course meal. We also cater for weddings, receptions, banquets and conferences in our Pary's suite, which boasts a beautiful Victorian Conservatory reception area, overlooking our beautiful gardens and rolling hills of Anglesey. Coupled with the superb menu choices, an event hosted here will be one to remember. We are proud to use the freshest local produce wherever possible. Our food is home made and this can mean that, during busy periods, there may be a little waiting time. Very occasionally we may sell out of some ingredients if they prove exceptionally popular. We think this is a small price to pay for fresh, wholesome food that is cooked to order especially for you. Hotel Rating: Welsh Tourist Board 4 star
